Oklahoma COVID-19 cases rise over 1,300, death toll hits 51

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — There are now 1,327 confirmed cases of COVID-19 coronavirus in Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma State Department of Health releasing those numbers Monday night.

There have been 249 cases of the virus in Tulsa County and 8 deaths.

There were an additional five deaths in the state:

  • Two in Greer County, a man and a woman older than 65.
  • One in Oklahoma County, a man in the 18-35 age group.
  • One in Osage County, a woman older than 65.
  • One in Pottawatomie County, a man older than 65

Over the weekend the Oklahoma State Department of Health received more than 6,000 negative COVID-19 test results reported by private labs dating back to February.
