Notices for some property records are scams

Tulsa, Okla. — Tulsa County authorities are warning about a scam involving property records.

Several companies across the country are sending notices to people in Tulsa County where the scammers are offering a certified copy of their deed.

Tulsa County says these companies are charging people $86.00, when you could get one yourself from the County Clerk's Office for about $2.00.
