Nation Pancake Day at IHOP scores you free pancakes

TULSA, Okla. — On Tuesday, IHOP will celebrate National Pancake Day by giving out free short stacks of pancakes from 7am to 7pm.

Even better, the company is using this celebration to raise money for Shriners Hospitals for Children. 

IHOP Head of Communitcations, Stephanie Peterson tells KRMG, every dollar raised during National Pancake Day will support Shriners Hospitals for Children, directly impacting kids and families in the community.

New this year, every guest who participates is eligible to enter a sweepstakes for the chance to win Pancakes for Life, or one of over 250,000 other instant prizes including bikes, scooters and watches.

Peterson tells KRMG the annual event has raised more than $30 million for charities to-date, and is hoping to raise $4 million more this year.
