Motorized scooters are now available for rent in Tulsa

Drivers need to be on the lookout for motorized scooters in the Tulsa area.

Lime scooters can now be rented in downtown Tulsa, Cherry Street and Brookside. Riders we spoke to seem to enjoy the experience.

“It was a little nerve racking,” one rider said.  “Then it got pretty exciting.  It was really cool.”

The scooters are $1 to start and 15 cents for every minute you ride.

You must have a driver’s license to partake.  If a person is caught riding one while intoxicated, a DUI is possible.
