More than 350,000 homes and businesses are still without power

Tuesday’s storm left ice on powerlines and trees

TULSA — PSO reported close to 40,000 customers were without power Wednesday afternoon after Tuesday’s storm.

The situation is much worse west of Tulsa with hundreds of thousands of people without power.

Governor Kevin Stitt declared a state of emergency for 47 of the state’s 77 counties.

PSO says crews have been able to restore power to 18,000 customers since the beginning of the storm.

Crews warn that outage numbers could continue to fluctuate.

More than 700 workers are busy trying to restore electricity to customers as quickly as possible.

More workers are headed here from out of state.
