Tulsa, Okla. — A shooting victim is able to walk back home after getting shot in the back near Pine and Harvard.
We're told the victim called his girlfriend, saying he had been shot in the back by a black male after the victim had shouted racial slurs at the suspect around 1:30 Monday morning.
“This is not the first time that the victim has made such disparaging remarks to other people and was assaulted for it,” TPD Lt. Brett Bilyeu said.
The girlfriend told police that the victim has had similar encounters previously.
Police were looking for gun casings at the scene, but none were found.
The suspect was not located.
