Man reportedly shot outside south Tulsa QuikTrip

A man has gunshot wounds to both of his arms following a shooting in Tulsa early Sunday morning.

The victim told investigators he was shot outside the QuikTrip near 61st and Memorial.  However, he traveled to a second QuikTrip just east of 169 on 61st Street and called for help.

“A white male wearing a mask approached his vehicle quickly and attempted to steal his vehicle,” a police supervisor said.  “The victim stated that he quickly closed his door to get away and that is when the suspect shot through the window and struck the victim.”

His injuries are said to be non-life threatening.

So far, no arrests have been made.
