A man is said to be stable, after getting stabbed in the armpit early Sunday morning.
The stabbing happened around 1:35 a.m. at the Salvation Army on North Denver Avenue.
A Tulsa police supervisor reports the victim was already transported when officers arrived, but there were plenty of witnesses.
“(They) stated that the suspect was intoxicated and upset about an ex-girlfriend situation,” the police supervisor said. “The victim stepped in to stand up for the female and the suspect stabbed him in the left armpit.”
Police report the suspect then fled the scene and is still on the loose. A description of the man hasn’t been released.
Anyone with information regarding the stabbing is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
