Man dies following two-vehicle crash

A 28-year-old man is dead following a two-vehicle crash in Rogers County on Saturday.

The collision happened in the city limits of Catoosa. In a press release, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol report a Toyota was westbound on I44.

“Departed the roadway to the left and struck Vehicle-2 which was abandoned on the inside shoulder,” OHP said.

Raul Gonzalez Jr. was transported to the hospital.  He was later pronounced dead.

The other two people inside the Toyota were not seriously injured.

As of Sunday morning, the cause of the collision is under investigation.
