Jenks, Claremore police officers arrested on charges

Tulsa, Okla. — Two area police officers are arrested over the weekend.

Claremore PD Officer Matt Rice was arrested on accusations of drunk driving.

He was released on bond, but has been placed on suspension from the Department.

Jenks Commander James Bennett (shown) also was arrested.

He was accused of using a fake degree to get a promotion and a pay raise.

Bennett is out of jail on bond and is on leave.
