Road work begins Monday, Feb. 3rd on 51st Street between Mingo and Garnett, according to the City of Tulsa.

The city said the project consists of removing the old surface of the road, patching where needed under the surface and repaving the surface of the road. The project will also include new sidewalks and ramps at the intersection, new traffic lights and new curbs and gutters.

The city said drivers will experience lane closures during the project.

We’re told work is scheduled to be finished early next year.
