Gunshot fired during restaurant robbery

Tulsa, Okla. — An armed robber fires a gunshot into the ceiling during a restaurant hold-up.

We're told the suspect fired the shot after an employee said the cash register could not be opened.

The suspect took the cash register and left.

Another restaurant worker near the scene is worried about the same thing happening again.

He said, “Now we’re going to have to stay on our toes and just stay vigilant and hopefully it doesn’t happen again.”

The Subway near West 23rd and South Jackson was robbed around 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

No one was hurt.
