GRDA offers training on stormwater construction inspections

The Grand River Dam Authority will soon be offering training for contractors, municipal staff and anyone who has responsibility for inspecting and installing erosion and sediment control on construction sites.

The training is October 25, from 9am to 3:30pm at the GRDA Ecosystems and Education Center in Langley.

A press release from the GRDA indicates the training will cover what to include in a storm water prevention plan, who has the responsibility to inspect, and a brief overview of the history of storm water regulation and applicable laws.
