GPS tracker, police canine gets armed robbers busted

Tulsa, Okla. — Technology helps deputies find and arrest two armed robbery suspects near the scene at a Family Dollar store.

20-year old Corey Davis and a 15-year old juvenile are accused of using a gun to rob the store near 5600 North Peoria Thursday night.

TCSO Deputy Justin Green spoke with KRMG after the suspects were arrested.

“Little did they know that the money had a GPS tracker in it so we were able to track them with the system for the GPS tracker.”

We're told deputies recovered the money and a gun from the suspects.

A TPD canine bit the juvenile during the arrest.

He was treated for a minor injury.
