Gold teeth found inside Salvation Army’s red kettle in Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. — A strange donation has been discovered inside the Salvation Army’s famous red kettle.

A pair of gold teeth were found inside an envelope at a donation center in Tulsa.

Captain Dan Nelson with the Salvation Army says the gold is worth about $100. Gold donations are not unusual this time of year. So far, about $29,000 worth of gold has been donated.

Tulsa has the highest amount of gold donated to red kettles across the country.
