Gathering Place neighbors petition city about visitor parking

Tulsa, Okla. — A neighborhood near 31st and Riverside is circulating a petition for the city to do something about the parking problem at The Gathering Place.

Gathering Place Executive Director Tony Moore says they are aware and are concerned about the problem.

“We’ve tried putting out fliers to discourage parking in the areas but we’re still working with TPD and with signage and even with ticketing,” Moore said.

The city encourages visitors to park at one of the satellite lots at OSU-Tulsa or at River Spirit Casino.
