TULSA, Okla. — Arrangements are in place for the funeral of a Tulsa police sergeant who was shot and killed during a traffic stop.
Sgt. Craig Johnson’s funeral is scheduled for Thursday, July 9 at 1 p.m. at Victory Christian.
The services will be open to the public and masks will be provided for those who don’t have them.
Johnson died after being shot multiple times during a traffic stop in east Tulsa on June 29. David Anthony Ware and Matthew Hall are facing charges in connection to the shooting.
Ware is also accused of shooting Officer Aurash Zarkeshan who remains in critical condition.
Tulsa police and other local law enforcement agencies held a procession for Johnson on July 1.
