Free sand bags at Mabee Center

Tulsa, Okla. — The City of Tulsa is giving away free sand bags to protect property from flooding.

There were 1,200 sand bags available at the ORU Mabee Center parking lot at 81st and South Lewis starting before midnight Friday morning.

The bags were available for the public on a first come, first served basis.

We're told the bags are not sealed, so be careful loading them.
