Former volunteer firefighter charged with child sex crime

A former volunteer firefighter in Wagoner County is accused of sexually abusing a child under 12 years old.

Court records show Chad Renner was charged this week with one count of sexual abuse of a child under 12 years old.

Tulsa World reports the sexual abuse allegedly happened multiple times. The victim told his mother, who then informed investigators.

Renner has denied the allegations against him.  As of Friday, he hadn’t been booked into jail.
