The flight is scheduled to arrive at Tulsa International Airport just before 6 p.m. Staff members and volunteers from Catholic Charities will be there to welcome the 36-year-old man.

The man is one of several hundred refugees scheduled to arrive in Green Country within the next few months.

About 200 families will be coming to Tulsa, and they were rescued from the terror attack at the Kabul airport last month. These families have previously assisted U.S. military members and were chosen by the U.S. Government to come to the United States.

Every refugee has been screened and vetted for both their health and security.

If you would like to help the refugees, you can find more information on the Catholic Charities website.
