Father allegedly tries to drown children

Sun, June 4, 2017 — It’s a disturbing story out of Ada involving a father and his children.

Leland Foster allegedly tried to drown his twin infants on Friday.

KXII reports another child ran to a neighbor for help.  Police say that unidentified neighbor fatally shot Leland Foster.

The two 3-month-old children were transported to an Oklahoma City hospital and are said to be stable.  As of early Sunday morning, an update on their conditions hasn’t been released.

It will be up to the district attorney’s office whether the fatal shooting was justified.
