Tulsa, Okla. — A man is in critical condition after crashing during a high-speed police chase to Muskogee.
The chase started after Tulsa police spotted an occupied stolen car Thursday night at the Red Rood Inn near Admiral and Sheridan.
The driver refused to pull over before entering the Muskogee Turnpike.
He lost control after starting northbound on Highway 69.
The car had been stolen earlier Thursday near 2300 West Edison Avenue.
We’re told the driver left the keys in the car when he ran into a liquor store to make a purchase.
