TULSA — An area family is mourning the loss of a loved one after a fatal crash during the Monday morning commute.
Police say 52-year-old Michael Goad was killed.
Investigators say Goad had stopped on the Broken Arrow Expressway, near Highway 169, after witnessing a crash.
His car was hit by an SUV, which was hit by another SUV.
Luis Aisa was nearly caught in the wreck.
“I’ve seen a few, but this is carnage,” said Aisa. “It’s extremely dangerous how this is laid out.”
He says the ramp needs to be redesigned.
The first crash happened when one driver was exiting and one driver was entering the Broken Arrow Expressway.
Four people were taken to the hospital with injuries.
Five cars were damaged.
