TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Fire Crews responded to a fire at Mother Road Market Friday morning.
Jeff Thompson, Strategic Operations Director for MRM, tells KRMG he got a call around 5:30 from TFD about a fire at the building.
Thompson says it was a small fire, with no major structural damage.
He says it appears some rags or towels were near a heating source overnight and the rags/cloth eventually caught fire. Thompson says whatever was burning was going for a while so it produced a lot of smoke.
Thomspon was unable to name exactly which restaurant the fire originated from and says he’s doing everything possible to get the place cleaned up so they can open at 11 a.m.
Thomspon says to keep an eye on Facebook for an update if they aren’t able to open on time.
