OWASSO, Okla. — The City of Owasso says the recent severe weather has impacted the construction of the Redbud Festival Park in Downtown Owasso.
Director of Recreation and Culture, Larry Lankford tells KRMG the heavy rainfall “put a delay on the park's construction” and hopes they can get back to work as soon as possible.
Lankford says the flooding has caused the debut of the park to be pushed back to early August, weather permitting.
