Tulsa, Okla. — Closing arguments are set for Friday in the trial for a man charged with shooting a Tulsa police officer.
Back in 2018, police reported John Chapman Junior opened fire at a gas station near 51st and Harvard.
A TPD sergeant was shot in the leg, but the bullet struck a coin in his pocket.
Chapman's trial started Monday.
He took the stand Thursday and the jury should get the case Friday after closing arguments.
In a separate trial in the Spring, a federal jury found Chapman guilty.
He was sentenced to forty years in prison.
