Christmas seems to come earlier every year, right?
You walk into a retail store and say “really?” when you see Christmas decorations on display.
Well, this is 2020 so you know the Christmas shopping season is going to be different.
KRMG’s Consumer Warrior Clark Howard says you can save big bucks by doing your shopping earlier than you might want to.
“The middle of October this year is going to be a key, maybe the key, money-saving moment for shopping for Christmas.” Clark said.
The reason: Amazon Prime Day was canceled back in the summer and is now set for October 13-14.
Plus, Clark said other big retailers are planning to hold big sales in October and November, rather than in December. He adds that waiting to do your gift buying is not advised this year.
“That’s going to cost you.” Clark said. “It’s going to eat into your wallet.”
