City plans to put large site up for sale in Pearl District

Tulsa's Pearl District has been buzzing with new development during the past couple of years.

And now, a prime piece of real estate could be up for sale in that area.

The City of Tulsa owns the old Laura Dester Children's Home site, which covers an entire square block between Quincy and Rockford and 7th street and 8th street.

The Tulsa City Council this week will likely vote to turn it over to the Tulsa Development Authority, which will then look for buyers.
