Changes to Mother Road Market lineup for 2020

TULSA, Okla. — Mother Road Market announced changes to its lineup for 2020.

Akira Sushi and Ramen is being added to the food hall.

“Akira Sushi has done really well in Owasso.” General Manager Jeff Thompson told KRMG.

Mother Road Market is also getting a breakfast place called Da Yolk, a product of Kitchen 66.

“Breakfast has been a big demand.” Thompson said.

Knot Yours Pet Boutique + Making Space is also being added. This concept focuses on handmade toys and leashes for pets.

“They have a really unique and eclectic mix of chew toys and leashes and leads and training aids for pets that you can make right in their space.” Thompson added.

Two vendors are leaving Mother Road Market in 2020, the Bake Shop and the Farm Stand. We’re told both concepts leaving Mother Road Market are expected to open elsewhere.

Big Dipper Creamery will move from their original space to the space that currently houses the Farm Stand.

Thompson told KRMG it will be normal for concepts to come and go at Tulsa’s first food hall.

“Mother Road Market isn’t the permanent destination for everybody.” He said. “It’s a place where people can come and try out a concept for a year or more and then hopefully grow from there and build and expand.”

Thompson said visitors can expect to see the patio space at Mother Road Market to be reworked to accommodate outside dining year-round.
