Two found dead in Broken Arrow home

Broken Arrow, Okla. — UPDATE:

Police are now calling the incident a murder-suicide. Officers say they found the man and woman dead inside the bedroom.

A gun was found near the bodies.

A medical examiner will now look at the official cause of dead. No names have been released.

Broken Arrow police activated the Special Operations Team to a neighborhood near 81st and Garnett Thursday morning.

Police told KRMG a caller to 911 reported a pop sound at a nearby home.

Police made entry and found two people dead. Investigators are calling it a domestic violence situation.

Union Public Schools confirmed Andersen Elementary was on a perimeter lockdown while police searched the area.
