Broken Arrow making plans for Innovation District

Plans are moving forward for a new innovation district in Broken Arrow.

The city is applying for federal grant funding to build a new “innovation hub” in the Rose District. The hub will be a unique space where businesses, educators, city leaders, and more can come together and build ideas and projects together.

Long term the city plans to create a new innovation district in South Broken Arrow. It will include large office space, housing, restaurants and entertainment.

The district is intended to recruit new desirable businesses, like tech companies and other high-paying industries.

The city hopes the innovation district will help bring and keep young talent in Broken Arrow. Studies show many young adults leave the city to pursue their career elsewhere.
