Brakes fail, pickup truck driver slams into garage

Tulsa, Okla. — A garage needs repair after the brakes fail on a pickup truck.

Police say the driver was trying to stop at a stop sign near 24th and South Joplin when her brakes failed around 1:30 a.m. Monday.

To avoid hitting a house in front of her, the driver crossed a lawn and hit the garage of the house next door.

There were no injuries.

The driver did not get a ticket.
