BOK Center breaks attendance record with Metallica concert

TULSA, Okla. — The BOK Center set a new attendance record Friday night when Metallica returned to Tulsa.

According to the arena. 19,228 fans attended the heavy metal band’s show at the BOK Center.

Metallica last played the BOK Center in 2008. They first played in Tulsa at Cain’s Ballroom in 1986.

Metallica was one of 10 acts to perform at the BOK Center as part of the arena’s ‘10 for 10’ series celebrating the BOK Center’s 10th anniversary.

The 10th show in that series will be Elton John February 9th, 2019.
