BROKEN ARROW- Summer is winding down and school is just around the corner.
This Saturday the Broken Arrow Police Department and Tulsa Technology are sponsoring the 8th annual Back to School Bash, free of charge.
This event will be held at the BA Tulsa Tech at 4000 W Florence (111th and 129th) from 9am to noon.
School supplies will be given out, provided by the Broken Arrow Neighbors and 25 area churches, as well as free haircuts given by the Tulsa Tech Cosmetology students.
Immunizations will also be available by the Caring Van if you bring your shot records.
Vision screening and child idenfitication which includes DNA, video, and finger prints will also be available, free of charge.
There will also be fun for the kids with face painting, jupiter jumps and Blue Bell ice cream.
The Broken Arrow Police Deparptment will be out with the k-9 and traffic officers to offer tips on pedestrian and school safety.
