NORMAN, Okla. — A release from Oklahoma City cops confirms the grim find.
“Yesterday afternoon (March 7, 2018), officers from the Oklahoma City Police Criminal Intelligence Unit developed information that Victor Minjarez was at 3005 Venice Blvd. in Oklahoma City. Mr. Minjarez was indeed located at that residence and was taken into custody. A short time later, officers discovered the body believed to be Jody Minjarez, also at that residence. Victor Minjarez was interviewed and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail in complaints of murder in the first degree and unlawful disposal of human remains.”

Norman police issued an Amber Alert Wednesday for the father and seven-month-old baby believed to be in the SUV.
Officers believe Victor Manuel Minjarez attacked Jody Minjarez’s mother on February 19th.
Victor Minjarez is suspected of taking off from the scene with the infant.
Investigators believe they are in the Oklahoma City metro area.
