Jenks student ornaments to be on display as part of 2022 National Christmas Tree

JENKS, Okla. — Ornaments designed by students at Jenks Middle School will decorate the Oklahoma tree on the grounds of the White House as part of the 2022 National Christmas Tree experience, the school district announced in a social media post.

Jenks Middle School was selected by the National Park Service as the only school in Oklahoma to create artwork for the state tree, the school district said.

“Students’ submissions were judged by other students and the ornaments with the most votes were chosen to be displayed on the Oklahoma tree, one of 58 state/territory trees that will surround the National Christmas Tree,” said in a social media post.
