Four arrested after Tulsa Police find stolen U-Haul pickup truck

TULSA, Okla. — A stolen U-Haul pickup truck lead to police arresting four people on Friday night, according to the Tulsa Police Department.

In a media release, police said they found a stolen U-Haul pickup truck in the parking of Clarion Motel near 31st and Memorial on Nov. 25, around 8:00 p.m.

Inside the car was Jason Solis, who told police that his girlfriend rented the truck and they just decided to keep it.

Because there was a woman’s coat in the passenger’s seat, police believed Solis was waiting for someone to come out of the motel. Solis confirmed that he was waiting on someone, a female acquaintance that he barely knew.

Because of the vague details, police suspected Solis and his acquaintance came to the motel to buy drugs.

After a short wait, the acquaintance, Elisha McAnally, came out of the motel, saw the police and tried to run. She was later caught and tackled to the ground.

Police said after they searched her, they found methamphetamine in her bra and underwear.

According to police, McAnally said she came to the motel to buy drugs for Solis.

Solis was arrested for possession of stolen vehicle. McAnally was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.

Using motel security footage, police found the room McAnally went in to buy drugs. Police also found out the room was rented by Tara Alvita-Gourd Gutierrez.

Police later found Gutierrez, along with a man, Terry Roland, in the hallway outside the room.

“Both were very surprised to see officers,” according to the release.

Gutierrez and Roland were both arrested on outstanding warrants.

After they were arrested, police said they found more than two ounces of methamphetamine in Gutierrez’s underwear and one ounce of meth in Roland’s underwear.

Roland was booked for trafficking narcotics on Muscogee Nation charges and Gutierrez was booked on her Osage County warrant with a hold for federal authorities. Both are tribal members.

Solis and McAnally were booked on Muscogee Nation charges.

The pickup was returned to U-Haul. Solis’ girlfriend will face charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle for not returning the truck.
