BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — The Broken Arrow Police Department (BAPD) says they’re pursuing various leads after a teenager died from a gunshot wound.
BAPD says a 16-year-old male was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound in the road near 1400 West Trenton around 2:40 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Officers say they provided first aid to the teen, but he later died at the hospital.
So far, no further details have been released.
This is the first homicide in Broken Arrow of 2023.
