Bartlesville PD searching for suspected wallet thieves

Bartlesville, Okla. — Police are asking for helping in identifying two people they say went on a shopping spree after stealing a woman’s wallet.

That woman is Jamie Tonietta, who lost her husband four years ago.

“It’s very hard because I’m a widow and my husband passed away from cancer 4 years ago and I’m just trying to do right things and start over and teach my girls right from wrong.”

Jamie said she was at Walmart with her children when she realized she no longer had her phone or wallet.

Before Jamie could cancel her credit card, she said hundreds of dollars were drained from her account.

Bartlesville Police said they took a report and are searching for the suspected thieves.

Even though Jamie is out over a thousand dollars, she won’t stop until she gets justice.

“My kids and my money are my everything, and if someone take that from me I’ll do anything to protect my kids.”

If you have any information on who these suspected thieves could be, please call the Bartlesville Crime Stoppers at 918-336-CLUE.
