10-Day Broken Arrow virtual surplus auction begins today

The city is selling off items like used cars and electronics

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — The City of Broken Arrow is looking to turn some trash into treasure.

The city is selling a long list of items that city officials say they don’t have any use for, but maybe someone else does.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the auction will be virtual.

It starts Friday, January 8th at 3 p.m. and goes until 4 p.m. January 18.

Organizers say the auction will include used cars, utility trucks, a backhoe, a bucket truck, mowers, electronics, and other miscellaneous items.

You are able to check out the items in-person but you must place a bid online.

The city says all the money made through the surplus auction will go into the General Fund and Broken Arrow Municipal Authority funds.
