JENKS, Okla. — The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office said they have arrested a suspect in connection with a road rage incident last week.
Just after 7:00 p.m. on April 10, authorities said the victim became involved in a road rage incident with a suspect driving a silver Chrysler 300.
Deputies said the silver Chrysler followed the victim to their home and originally drove off after stopping by the victim’s driveway for a moments.
Law enforcement said the suspect later returned and began arguing with the victim, eventually leading to the suspect pulling out a handgun and firing several shots at the victim.
Authorities said the victim wasn’t hit, but several shots hit the victim’s car.
The suspect then drove away from the area, according to the sheriff’s office.
The suspect told deputies that the victim had bumped his car before he followed them into a neighborhood and asked the victim if they were trying to get shot, according to TCSO.
The suspect told TCSO that the victim walked within two feet of his car when he fired his gun out the driver window.
The suspect was arrested and booked into the Tulsa County jail.
No official charges have been filed against the suspect yet, according to the Oklahoma State Courts Network, so we are choosing not to identify the suspect at this time.
