Tulsa County deputies knocked on the door of an apartment near Admiral and Lewis Friday and found a man and woman with an elderly man who was in bad shape.
Deputies found an elderly man who appeared extremely thin and unclean.
He told deputies he suffers from cancer and multiple strokes.
He stated he had not been receiving proper care, medication, or basic hygiene.
The apartment had very little food, and deputies observed roaches and mold inside the refrigerator.
Deputies say 45-year-old Ashley Horton, the elderly man’s relative, had an active warrant out of Pawnee County.
Horton was arrested on her warrant and additionally booked for harboring a fugitive and caretaker neglect.
Dan Talbot, a convicted felon, was arrested and booked into the Tulsa County Jail on a hold for the Cherokee Nation.
The elderly victim was taken to a local hospital to receive medical care.
