A major traffic headache starts on Monday, January 5th, on Highway 75, southwest of Tulsa, especially for people who commute to and from Jenks and Glenpool on a regular basis.
Work will be getting underway on a rehab of the bridge over Polecat Creek on Highway 75, just north of the Creek Turnpike interchange.
Officials say that once the Monday morning rush hour is done, they’ll reduce traffic to just one lane each way, between the Creek Turnpike and 96th Street, which is likely to cause significant traffic slowdowns in that area.
The project is expected to take close to a year to complete.
