BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — The City of Broken Arrow celebrated the spirit of the holidays with their annual Carols and Cocoa event.

Throughout the event, several children and adult choirs sang Christmas songs for the residents visiting the Rose District.

The night also saw a variety of local vendors who brought plenty of sweet treats and warm drinks to help keep everyone warm.

Erin Hofener, the Communication Coordinator for Broken Arrow, said the event brings a special kind of joy to the city every year.

“It really just speaks to Broken Arrow and how family friendly and tight knit of a community is it, even though it’s the fourth largest city in Oklahoma. It does really feel like that hometown type of feel with big city amenities, especially in the Rose District. It just feels like a Hallmark movie come to life, so it’s just really exciting to see.”

If you missed Friday night’s event, there are plenty of other holiday events coming up in Broken Arrow. including Santa’s North Pole Village being held tomorrow at New Orleans Square from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
