"And the Oscar goes to....."

We don't know the winners yet but we might ask how many of these movies have you seen? The answer may be not many but they were impressive to the academy voters. Tuesday morning the Academt of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the Academy Awards nominations for the 2010 movie season. Check below for the major categories and then check the link for a complete rundown.

Nominations for supporting actress in a motion picture are:

Amy Adams, ``The Fighter''                                                                                     Helena Bonham Carter, ``The King's Speech''                                                             Melissa Leo, ``The Fighter''                                                                                    Hailee Steinfeld, ``True Grit''                                                                                  Jacki Weaver, ``Animal Kingdom''

The British monarchy saga ``The King's Speech'' leads the Academy Awards with 12 nominations, including best picture and acting honors for Colin Firth, Helena Bonham Carter and Geoffrey Rush. The Feb. 27 Oscar ceremony will be televised live on ABC from Hollywood's Kodak Theatre.
