For the Fam
Woolaroc Kidsfest. Get pony rides, live Wild West reenactments, good food, crafts and games at this festival that this year. Saturday and Sunday, Woolaroc in Bartlesville.
Blue Bell's Taste of Summer. How does all the ice cream you can eat sound? Get that, live entertainment and even an ice cream eating contest at this festival for families out in Broken Arrow at Blue Bell Creameries. Saturday, 9am-3pm.
52nd Annual Rooster Days Rodeo. Ever stood in a ring in the middle of a rodeo arena and let a bull charge at you, just to test your bravery? Well, you can do it in Broken Arrow this weekend at the 52nd Annual Rooster Days Rodeo. Friday and Saturday, 8pm, Broken Arrow Round-Up Club Arena.
Greater Tulsa Parade of Homes and Five Tulsa Treasures. Tour Tulsa homes to your heart's content with the Greater Tulsa Parade of Homes this weekend, then get outside for a tour of gardens by some of Tulsa's Master Gardners. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, throughout Tulsa; visit TashaDoesTulsa.com for details.
Family Day in the Park. It'll be like partying when your parents are out of town at ONEOK Field this weekend with Family Day in the Park, since the Drillers are playing elsewhere. Turn to TashaDoesTulsa.com for details.
Tulsa Area Pony Show. In case your kiddos weren't asking for a pony before. Saturday-Sunday, Expo Square.
Sidewalk Astronomy. Get a load of the heavens through some serious telescopes - some look like they might be missing from NASA. Saturday, 8:30pm, Riverwalk Crossing.
Yo Gabba Gabba Tix Go On Sale. Don't miss out on tickets to this Nov. 5 BOK Center show. Saturday, 10am.

Cheech and Chong: Get It Legal Tix Go On Sale. They're back together, kids, and they'll be at the BOK Center Nov. 18. Get tickets today at 4:20pm.
John Mayer Tix Go On Sale. Don't miss out on tickets to this Sept. 3 BOK Center show. Saturday, 10am.
Sunset Concert Series at Chandler Park. If you're looking for some live music this weekend, catch the Jon Glazer Trio in the largest natural outdoor concert venue in Tulsa County tonight. 7pm.
Live Music at RiverWalk Crossing. Get live music by local bands every night this weekend at the amphitheater at RiverWalk Crossing in Jenks. 8pm.
Other Stuff
Biker Boyz Weekend. Join bikers from around the U.S. at Expo Square for a weekend filled with stunt show expos, motorcycle shows and, of course, a swimsuit competition. Check it out Friday and Saturday.
Operation Oklahoma: Our Salute to Vietnam Veterans. The Dignity Memorial Vietnam Wall leaves Tulsa Saturday morning at 10am, and it'll have a huge motorcycle escort for a Route 66 ride down to Norman. Be sure to line up along the route to see the show, starting at the University of Tulsa Chapman Commons.
Green Country Calf Fry. Get live entertainment, bull-riding, dance contests and, of course, a calf fry cookin' and eatin'. Tonight and Saturday, Cherokee Casino Will Rogers Downs in Claremore.
Wagoner for a Zip-n-Sip at The Canebrake. Beat the heat by riding the zip line, then retire to your choice of a flight of beer, red or white wine or a dessert at The Canebrake Saturday afternoon. 1-5pm.
XFL Super Fights. Put a little smackdown into your weekend with this event. Friday, 8pm, SpiritBank Event Center.
Movies
Knight and Day. Tom Cruise stars as an international super spy who gets involved with Cameron Diaz, an ordinary, everyday woman.
Grown Ups. An all-star cast of Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider play childhood best friends who reunite as adults.
Midnight Movie: Close Encounters of the Third Kind. See the cult movie at straight-up midnight at Tulsa's independent movie house. Friday and Saturday, Circle Cinema.
