• Porter Peach Festival. It's that time of year when the peaches need pickin', and the folks in Porter know just how to get the job done - by throwing a weekend-long party, complete with contests in peach cobbler, frog jumping, ugliest dog and the crowning of Miss Peach, as well as a 5K, a car show, live music and, of course, free peaches and ice cream. • Zookeeper Appreciation Week. Catch a keeper chat or animal feeding at Tulsa Zoo this weekend to celebrate our zookeepers. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Tulsa Zoo.
• Moms' Night Out. Put on your non-mom jeans and head to Brookside for a Punjammie Party with the moms of Ttownmoms.com. Friday, 7pm, Blue Moon Bakery and Cafe.
• Drillers Beach Party Weekend. Get a beach party, complete with a huge water slide and Slip'n'Slide, all weekend long at ONEOK Field. And don't forget about Fireworks Friday tonight.
• Tulsa Powwow. Get everything from a 5K to a music festival to arts and crafts to a cook-off of frybread as big as your head at this annual powwow event. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, SpiritBank Event Center.

• Little Green Thumbs. Join your child in the Children's Garden at Tulsa Garden Center Saturday morning for some veggie and herb know-how. 9am.

• Robert Plant and the Band of Joy. One of the greatest metal vocalists of all time and former Led Zeppelin frontman play in Tulsa tonight. Doors at 7pm, Brady Theater.
• Ted Nugent. Cat Scratch Fever, dun dun dun...Val Halla opens for this All-American rock icon. Sunday, 8pm, Cain's Ballroom.
• Maroon 5 Tickets On Sale. Don't miss out on tickets to this Oct. 19 show at the BOK Center. Saturday, 10am.
• Brookside Music Crawl. Get a dozen local bands in a half-dozen different Brookside venues, all free and open to the public. Friday, starting at 6:30pm.
• Appassionata. While these musicians are classically trained and play instruments like the viola and the hard, the set list for this event includes cover hits by Pink Floyd, Sting, The Beatles, Queen, Michael Jackson and ColdPlay. Friday, 6:30pm, LXi in KingsPointe Shopping Center.
• Live, Outdoor Music. Get it Friday night at Rhythm on the River at 41st Street and Riverside Drive starting at 6:30pm, and all weekend long starting at 8pm at Riverwalk Crossing.

• Professional Bull Riders. Downtown Tulsa will be glittering with cowboys and buckle bunnies this weekend as the Professional Bull Riders show their stuff at BOK Center.
• Hot Dog Contest. Does your dog have the best tricks or the best wardrobe in town? Show it off at the Cherry Street Farmers' Market Saturday morning for prizes.

• Silent Movie Night at the Theatre Organ Club. You know what they say - silence is golden. See films from the 1920s Friday night starting at 7pm and Tulsa Technology Center in Broken Arrow.
• Summer Films on the Lawn. See the 1994 movie Stargate tonight on the beautiful lawn at one of Tulsa's world-class museums. 7pm.
• Inception. Leo DiCaprio is the leading man in this sci-fi thriller who can steal secrets from someone's subconscious.
• The Sorcerer's Apprentice. Nicolas Cage is a master sorcerer in modern-day Manhattan who finds a reluctant protege in his fight against the forces of darkness.
