  • INHOFE blasts Bubba: Clinton's comments surrounding the OKC bombing commemoration are "unconscionable" and an "over-the-top" effort to silence critics. "I could not believe it when I first saw the Clinton remarks that he had come out again, 15 years later, and talked about this being precipitated by right wing talk radio," Inhofe tells POLITICO. "This is an over-the-top effort to try to stop a movement of people who aren't amenable to supporting Obama programs, like cap and trade, government-run health care and closing Gitmo."
  • Tulsa DA Tim Harris is sending out a dire warning to state legislators. He warns further budget cuts to his department will jeopardize its ability to prosecute criminals.
  • A west Tulsa turnpike? Governor Brad Henry signs a measure authorizing the OTA to begin a feasibility study of creating a new turnpike beginning at I-44 at 49th West Avenue running north across the Arkansas River east of Sand Springs and then turning east and connecting with the Tisdale Expressway.
  • A PI is now on the city payroll. His task is to look into Mayor Dewey Bartlett's chief of staff. At issue: did Terry Simonson lie to the city council and federal authorities about whether a justice assistance grant could be used to keep 35 officers on the force. The PI is expected to report back to the city council in 4 weeks. Some councilors want to include Mayor Bartlett in investigation.
  • An OK Senate Bill would lower the minimum age required to donate blood from 17 to 16.  OK would follow more than 30 states with similar rules.
  • SCHOOL LUNCHES a National Security Threat? Many American children are so overweight from being fed french fries, pizza and other unhealthy foods at school lunchrooms that they cannot handle the physical rigors of being in the military, a group of retired officers say in a new report.
  • Obama goes REALITY TV: Idol Gives Back tonight at 7PM
  • Two more women have come forward claiming Steven Seagal made unwanted sexual advances toward them while they worked for the actor.
  • That's HOT - Fire trucks raced to Paris Hilton's Hollywood Hills home last night after someone from inside the house called 911. It's unclear if there was an actual fire at the home -- but we're told the root of the problem was an "electrical" issue.

  • Secret Service Investigates Kal Penn Robbery - The bad guy didn't just take Penn's wallet, the perp also made off with Kal's two cell phones -- one of which belongs to the U.S. government. Penn is a member of President Obama's staff -- the Assoc Dir in the office of Public Engagement.
  • Intergalactic Big Bro: A new type of speed cameras which can use satellites to measure average speed over long distances are being tested in Britain.
  • A new study from the JAMA reveals that a diet heavy in added sugar is linked to elevated triglyceride levels and may increase your risk for a heart attack.
  • DADT: Police chased reporters away from the White House and closed Lafayette Park yesterday in response to a gay rights protest in which several service members in full uniform handcuffed themselves to the White House gate.
