  • North Tulsa (or, Tulsa North as Mayor-Elect DB calls it) slated to get first new grocery store in 2 ½ years. Antonio Perez, the owner of the local Las Americas chain, will open the Gateway Market.
  • QUESTION: Did the free market motivate Mr. Perez or was he given taxpayer-funded incentives?
  • We start our 4th Annual KRMG "Stories of Light" broadcast for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oklahoma tomorrow. During the 3-day campaign you'll meet some amazing young OK children with life-threatening illnesses whose Wishes have come true thanks to your generosity last year.
  • THROWING IT OUT WITH THE TRASH - In late Friday newser, OHP again clears Trooper Daniel Martin of excessive force. OHP again releases only a sliver of available dash cam video (2 minutes of 45). Martin and Trooper Tommy Allen are now back to work following 6-week paid leave.
  • President Obama in China meeting with students - PRESIDENT OBAMA SAID THE U-S BELIEVES IN BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS FOR CITIZENS IN EVERY NATION, ADDING: "WE WILL ALWAYS DO SO WITH THE HUMILITY AND UNDERSTANDING THAT WE ARE NOT PERFECT. AND THAT WE STILL HAVE MUCH PROGRESS TO MAKE."
  • Feds to visit Thompson Correctional Facility in Illinois today to determine whether the maximum security prison will be suitable to house Guantanamo Bay detainees and other criminal thugs.
  • Space Shuttle Atlantis slated to launch today at 1:28pm (Tulsa time) to take supplies, spare parts to ISS.
