Dreamliner makes emergency landing

A Boeing 787 operated by All Nippon Airways Co made an emergency landing in Takamatsu in western Japan on Wednesday (January 16) after smoke appeared in the Dreamliner cabin. The Dreamliner flight bound for Haneda Airport near Tokyo left Yamaguchi Airport in Western Japan shortly after 8:00 a.m. JST (2300 GMT Tuesday, January 15) but made an emergency landing at 8:45 after smoke appeared in the cockpit. According to ANA officials, all 129 passengers and 8 crew were evacuated safety.
